Courtland Home A Total Loss After Fire

COURTLAND (CBS13) – A family got out safely after a fire that destroyed their Courtland home Thursday morning.
The scene is along the 11700 block of Randall Island Road.

Multiple crews from the Cosumnes Fire Department and Metro Fire Department were called to the scene.
Powerpoles and sagging power lines complicated the firefight, crews reported.
A report about a propane tank at the property prompted a safety check that also delayed the fire attack.
Firefighters say the family got out safely, but the home is a total loss.
