Crest Theatre's Snack Bar Closed After Failing Health Inspection

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The snack bar at the Crest Theatre has been closed after failing a health re-inspection Wednesday.

Today's Sacramento County safety inspection states 30 small rodent dropping were found throughout the front cabinets, twenty droppings were found to the left of the bucket below the popcorn maker, and ten droppings were found on bags of unused popcorn in a storage room.

Some of the feces found today are green in color, indicating the rodents ate poisonous bait, according to the report.

Inspectors also found droppings two weeks ago during their last visit. Since then, no pest control service had been out to the business.

A pest control contract has been approved for the business.

The Environmental Health Permit for the snack bar has been suspended until there is no longer evidence of rodent activity,
