CPSC: Stop Using, Charging Samsung Galaxy Note 7

The news comes a day after the Federal Aviation Administration advised customers not power on or charge the devices on airplanes and not to stow them in checked luggage.

The company has not issued a formal recall, but has suspended sales of the device. Without a formal recall, the devices can continue to be sold by carriers and stores that still have them in stock.
