Cousins Named Western Conference Player Of The Week

After dropping seven of their first eight contests to start the season, the Sacramento Kings are on a three-game winning streak thanks to strong performances by DeMarcus Cousins, the NBA's latest Western Conference Player of the Week.

Cousins posted 32.5 points, 11 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and two assists per game last week covering four games. As a new development, he has also made 9 of 19 three-point shots over that span. As a six-year veteran, Cousins has won the award twice in his career before (both last season).

Cousins' teammate Rajon Rondo was another good candidate for the honor, as he picked up a triple-double in three of the four games last week.
