Cops Searching For Elk Grove Bank Robbery Suspect In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police officers are searching a Sacramento neighborhood for a man accused of robbing an Elk Grove bank on Friday.

Around 10:45 a.m., a man walked into the California Credit Union on Laguna Boulevard and demanded cash from the teller. The suspect took the money and reportedly got into a four-door silver sedan and drove away, according to Elk Grove police. Sacramento police officers spotted the suspect's vehicle on Interstate 5 soon after the robbery and chased him to the 6200 block of Riverside Boulevard where a perimeter was set up, according to a statement from the Sacramento Police Department.

The suspect is described as a Black male adult, 6 feet 2 inches tall, skinny; and was wearing a blue and black hoodie and black pants.
