Cosumnes Fire, Galt Police Assist In Delivering Newborn Sunday Morning

GALT (CBS13) - The Cosumnes Fire Department and Galt Police assisted in the birth of a baby girl Sunday morning after the mother went into labor in her home, according to Galt PD.

Officer Barton assisted Fire Captain Dan McCoy and a team of CSD Medics in delivering the newborn who arrived shortly after sunrise.

Officials said the mom and daughter are doing great.
