Comcast Outage Hits 800 Homes In Sacramento Near Cal Expo
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Comcast customers in the Sacramento area are experiencing an outage affecting both TV and Internet service on Thursday.
The outage began at around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, and is expected to last until 7 p.m. according to a notice on Comcast's customer portal.
About 800 homes are affected in the Cal Expo area, according to Comcast spokesman Bryan Byrd, but the outage doesn't appear to be widespread. The number is only that high because large apartment complexes are affected.
The cause is unknown.
