Coldplay Rooting For 'Denver Panthers'

While they are the Halftime performers for America's biggest football game of the year, British band Coldplay is not shy to admit they know little about the game of football.

In a press conference on Thursday, after asked who they were rooting for to win Super Bowl 50, they said their decision was split - and not for the reasons you think.

"We are firmly split down the middle," drummer Will Champion said in a press conference on Thursday. "Those of us who know absolutely nothing about football, and those who know almost absolutely nothing about football."

"As long as LeBron James has a good game ... we're definitely rooting for the Denver Panthers."

Watch Super Bowl at 3:30 pm on CBS to watch the game and see Coldplay perform. They will not be playing any songs off their new album.
