Crews Control 2-Alarm Grass Fire In North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Firefighters battled a grass fire in the rural part of North Sacramento.
The scene was near the 600 block of Claire Avenue.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the fire prompted a two-alarm response.
In total, about 5 acres were burned before firefighters got a handle on the flames.
Expect crews to be out at the scene through the early afternoon dealing with hotspots.
