Sacramento City Council Approves $1 Million Economic Relief Package

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Sacramento City Council has approved some measures to help people and businesses during the coronavirus outbreak.

The emergency meeting was closed to the public, and reporters were told to sit far apart from each other.

The city approved a $1 million dollar economic relief package for small businesses and is also offering free parking after 4:#0 for the next 30 days.

These measures were approved in hopes that people will continue to shop and eat out.
