Suspect Shot After Pursuit In Citrus Heights

CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) — A suspect was shot after a vehicle pursuit in Citrus Heights on Thursday.

Police say the suspect was wounded by gunfire from the officers, but did not disclose how many times the suspect was struck.

The shooting happened at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday in the area of Summer Avenue.

No officers were wounded in the shooting, and there is no further danger to the public, according to Citrus Heights Police.
