CHP: 4 Dead, 2 Injured In Sacramento County Crash

SACRAMENTO COUNTY��(CBS13) – Four people are dead and two are suffering for major injuries after a head on collision near Fair Oaks.

According to California Highway Patrol officers at the scene, two cars collided on San Juan Avenue, near Palm Avenue, just after 1:30 a.m. One of the cars involved was fully engulfed in flames with three people inside.

Two people were found lying in the roadway nearby, and the driver of the other car involved in the crash was also found outside their car.

Two victims have been transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries.

Officers say two of the people in the back of the car that caught fire were not wearing seatbelts.
