Chic Chickens: Mokelumne Hill Woman Creates Clothes For Pets

MOKELUMNE HILL (CBS13) — A Mokelumne Hill woman's idea to dress her chickens up has turned into a legitimate business.

It's called Tickled Pink Pet Accessories. Although she does sell other things for other animals, she says the chicken clothes are really taking off.

She said the ultimate goal is about more than business though.

"I don't want to just make pet accessories. I want to take them places, go to people, nursing homes, people that are sick, depressed, anxiety. I have PTSD, and I love the fact that this chicken can do different things other than just walk around my yard," she said.
