Celebration Of Life, Balloon Release Planned For Ronin Shimizu
FOLSOM (CBS13) — A celebration of live will be held next week in honor of a Folsom boy who committed suicide last month.
Ronin Shimizu, 12, took his life in December after friends say he was bullied for being a cheerleader.
The service will be held on Jan. 10 at Lakeside Church in Folsom at 10 a.m.
The family will also hold a balloon release in honor of Shimizu at Russell Ranch Elementary School on Saturday.
