CBS13 Announces Anchor Changes

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — There are a few changes to the CBS13 family we're happy to announce today—but chances are you've probably already noticed them.

First, Christina Anderson has been promoted to the primary co-anchor role at CBS13. For those of you who've watched her on the CBS13 News at 4, don't worry she'll still anchoring your first look at the news of the afternoon.

Station news director Tom Bell said having Anderson take over the role where she's filled in for months was an easy choice.

"Christina strikes a perfect balance of daily anchor skill, the ability to handle breaking news, and genuine warmth that translates easily to viewers," he said. "She made this decision easy.  "

Anderson will also be co-anchoring the CBS13 News at 5 and 10 with Sam Shane.

You may have noticed your weekends have changed recently as well. CBS13 recently welcomed Adrienne Moore to the station, and she's now working with Steve Large on the CBS13 News at 5 and 10 on weekends.

Make sure to follow all of them on Twitter for the latest updates.
