GRANITE BAY (CBS13) — Firefighters battled a grass fire near a Granite Bay neighborhood early Thursday afternoon.
The scene was in a field between Cavitt Ranch Place and Cavitt Stallman Road.
Exactly when the fire started is unclear, but a South Placer Fire District official says about three acres burned.
Firefighters have since stopped the flames.
It's unclear what started the fire.
