CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Armed Robbers Target Modesto Convenience Store
MODESTO (CBS13) —The Modesto Police Department is asking for the public's help finding three suspects in a robbery from Monday night.
Police say three suspects targeted Sam's Corner Store on Lucerne Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The business has been family owned for the past seven years.
Surveillance video shows the trio barging into the store with guns drawn. Two of them were dressed in black, while another had a grey hoodie. All three had bandannas covering their faces.
A customer and the clerk are both held at gunpoint in the 46-second video.
Family members say the clerk's wallet, car and wedding ring were taken in addition cash from the register.
