Car Hits 2 People, Slams Into Hollywood's Museum Of Broken Relationships

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police say a suspected drunk driver hit two pedestrians before slamming into the Museum of Broken Relationships in Hollywood.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says a car left the roadway Monday afternoon and hit two women before hitting the museum.

He says both have non-life-threatening injuries and the driver wasn't hurt. One woman was in fair condition and the other was in good condition.

Los Angeles police Officer Aareon Jefferson says the female driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run. Her name wasn't released.

The museum, which opened in June, consists of anonymously donated objects that tell stories of love and other types of relationships. It's located along the tourist-centric Hollywood Walk of Fame near the TCL Chinese Theatre.
