Vehicle crashes into Sacramento UPS store

SACRAMENTO – Three people were injured after a car crashed into a UPS store at a Sacramento shopping center early Tuesday afternoon.

The scene was along Del Paso Road at the Natomas Town Center.

Sacramento Fire said it appears the driver thought they were pushing the brakes when they actually hit the gas – sending their SUV through the front of the store.

Three pedestrians were struck by the vehicle as it crashed into the building. All three had minor injuries with one of them being transported to an area hospital due to possibly having a broken foot, Sacramento police said.

The driver is not suspected of a DUI.
