Canada's Immigration Website Crashes On Election Night
CBS Sacramento – It's happening. It appears 'moving to Canada' is a very popular Google search this evening.
The Canadian immigration site has crashed as voters have started Googling about how to legally move to Canada based off current election results.
The official website for 'Citizenship and Immigration Canada' stopped working at about 7:30pm PT, around the time when news organizations announced that a number of key states like Michigan, Ohio and Florida were swinging in Republican nominee Donald Trump's favor.
Canada's website would usually offer ways of applying either to live in or to become a citizen of the country. But all those people trying to access it actually are able to see is a long loading page and no access to the website.

A number of celebrities vowed to move out of the country if Trump wins. Bryan Cranston and Lena Dunham say they'll be moving to the frozen north...specifically Vancouver.
"I would definitely move," Cranston said during the Bestseller Experiment podcast. "It's not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won't."
"I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will," Dunham told Andy Cohen at the Matrix Awards.
