Cameron Park Man Jailed on Child Molestation Charges
EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) -- El Dorado County Sheriff's Investigators have arrested Cameron Park resident Robert Lee Edmonds on charges of child molestation.
Deputies say they received a confidential report of an inappropriate relationship between the 23-year-old and potentially several girls ages 13 to 17.
After an extensive investigation, Edmonds was arrested on May 5 and charged with child molestation. Deputies say, to their knowledge, Edmonds wasn't a part of any community groups that would have given him special access to these girls and say that he was able to meet the girls through "in person social interactions."
Investigators fear there could be more victims and say Edmonds could face additional charges.
