California Man Gets Probation For Biting Parents In Argument Over Cat

DALY CITY, Calif. (AP) - A Northern California man has been sentenced to probation after he pleaded no contest to felony assault for biting his parents when they told him he couldn't see the family's cat.

Wagstaffe said Bolshakov's parents told him he couldn't see the cat because it was recovering from surgery.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1kGooQM) that Bolshakov began punching and biting his 64-year-old father, ripping off flesh from his arm.

When Bolshakov's mother tried to intervene, he punched her as well and bit her on the hand, the paper reported.
