California Homicide Suspect Found In Arizona After Facebook Post

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in northern Arizona say they have arrested a woman wanted on a warrant in connection with a California homicide case.

Flagstaff police said Tuesday that 19-year-old Sahmanntha Rundstrom has been booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility pending extradition.

They say Rundstrom is considered a suspect in a San Francisco killing on May 24.

Details weren't immediately available.

An investigator with the District Attorney's office in San Francisco contacted Flagstaff police after learning that Rundstrom posted on social media that her vehicle had broken down and she was stuck in Flagstaff.

Police say they recognized the woman as someone who was panhandling throughout the city but had given authorities a different name.

Rundstrom was located by a task force while camping in the wooded area in Flagstaff and arrested.
