Man Allegedly Sets Himself And Wife On Fire In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Two burned bodies have been found in downtown Stockton, and it appears the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide.

The bodies of a 63-year-old Norma Moreno and her 46-year-old husband, Roberto Ceja-Martinez, were found by police on Sunday at around 4:45 p.m. in the backyard of a home on Sonora Street in downtown Stockton, according to Ofc. Joe Silva, a Stockton Police Department spokesman. The man allegedly beat the woman, doused her with gasoline and then lit her on fire. He then lit himself on fire.

Earlier in December, the woman was granted a restraining order against the man.

Family members were at the home and were incredibly distraught.
