Broken Windshield Forces Private Flight To Make Emergency Landing At Sacramento Airport

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A private flight made an emergency landing at Sacramento International Airport Thursday evening after reporting a broken windshield.

According to airport officials, it is unclear what caused the windshield to break. The plane landed safety at SMF around 7 p.m. and there were no injuries.

Sacramento firefighters responded to the tarmac as a precaution.

The airport did not say where the flight was headed or if it was arriving at Sacramento International.
