Wildfire In Rural Mariposa County Prompts Evacuations
MARIPOSA COUNTY (CBS13) – Part of Highway 140 is on Monday due to the Briceburg Fire in Mariposa County.
Cal Fire says the fire started on Sunday.

The fire has burned 500 acres north of Midpines and is 5% contained, Cal Fire reports.
Evacuations are in place for the Briceburg Campground.
The fire has caused a closure of Highway 140 between El Portal and Midpines.
It is not affecting Yosemite National Park, just 10 miles away.
