Placer County Crash Briefly Closes Busy Tahoe-Area Road

TRUCKEE (CBS13) — California Highway Patrol has just reopened a busy road between Squaw Valley and Truckee.
They say State Route 89 was closed in both directions because of a major accident.

SR-89 is currently closed in both directions between Squaw Valley and West River St. due to a major injury head on collision.
Use SR-267 as an alternate route.
