Boy, 1, And Mother Shot In Stockton Overnight
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a family was hurt in a shooting while they were coming home from dinner late Saturday night.
Stockton Police say a man, woman and their 1-year-old son were on their way home after having dinner at a restaurant. Just before 11 p.m., while the family was driving near Swain Road and Tam O'Shatner Drive, another car pulled up next to them and a passenger started shooting.
Both the toddler and his mother were shot, police say.
The two have been taken to the hospital and are said to be in critical condition, but stable.
No suspects have been identified. Investigators believe the incident is gang related.
