Body Recovered From Sacramento River

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Rescue crews have recovered a body from the Sacramento River.

The body was found in the water just before 3 p.m. near the 7000 block of the Garden Highway -- about a half mile upstream from the Elkhorn boat launch. Sacramento Fire Department personnel carried out the recovery.

The identity of the body has not been released.
