Body Of Missing Boy, 17, Recovered From Feather River
GRIDLEY (CBS13) - The body of a missing 17-year-old rafter has been recovered from the Feather River.
According to the Butte County Sheriff's Office, crews had been searching for the missing teen since last Wednesday. He disappeared during a rafting trip.
The teen was among five people who were rafting when the raft got stuck in the currents. Four were rescued, except for the teen.
Early Sunday evening, crews announced that the boy's body had been recovered.
Authorities soon confirmed that it was the body of the missing boy.
