Body Found Under Overpass Near Old Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities say they are investigating after someone apparently fell off an overcrossing bridge to their death Wednesday morning.
The scene is near 2nd and I Streets. Dispatchers are categorizing the incident as an "accidental death" investigation.
Sacramento Police say that State Park Police spotted the body near the California Railroad Museum around 7:48 a.m. Life saving measures were attempted, but the man was soon declared dead at the scene by fire crews.
It is unclear which exact bridge the person fell off of.
Investigators do not suspect any foul play in the incident.
