Body Found Near Sacramento River

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- The Sacramento Sheriff's Department has confirmed a body was found near the Sacramento River Sunday evening.

The body was found on the 3100 block of Garden Highway around 5 o'clock and has not been identified. The department has not yet released any information as to how the person died.

The Sacramento County Coroner is en route to the scene.
