Blue Angels Cancel Flight At Capital Airshow

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) --  The U.S. Navy Demonstration Squadron, Blue Angels has cancelled its planned Saturday performance at the Capital Airshow in Sacramento, a spokesperson for the even has announced.

Ryan Bernacchi, the Blue Angel's commanding officer and flight leader, has contracted a food-borne ailment and remains under the medical supervision of the team's flight surgeon.

The team it is hopeful Bernacchi will recover to perform the Blue Angel's final scheduled show on Sunday.
