Big Rig Crash Closes All Lanes Of Westbound I-80 In Vallejo
VALLEJO (CBS13) - Commuters faced an hours-long traffic jam Tuesday morning after a big rig overturned in Solano County.
At around 3:30 a.m., the driver of a big rig carrying packages was driving on westbound Interstate 80 when he dozed off, nearly hit another car and over-corrected, flipping the truck onto its side, according to a statement from the CHP.
Another vehicle then hit the big rig. Both drivers were taken to the hospital complaining of pain.
All lanes of the freeway were closed as police and crews responded to the crash.
