Website Glitch Delays Big Day Of Giving Deadline To Wednesday Afternoon
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Tuesday is the "Big Day of Giving" across the Sacramento area where you can help out 570 local non-profit groups.
There are all kinds of events happening across the region, including a big party at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville, live music later today in Cesar Chavez Park in Downtown Sacramento, and more music and live entertainment in Auburn come evening.
The website where people can donate, BigDayofGiving.org, is reportedly having technical issues. As a result, the deadline to donate is being pushed to 3 p.m. Wednesday. You can also donate to the organization of your choice by going directly to their website.
Organizers hope to raise $6 million before midnight with the events.
