SUV Hits Bicyclist In Vacaville
VACAVILLE (CBS13) - An intersection in Vacaville was closed Monday morning after a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle.
The incident happened along Alamo Drive and Butcher Road. The bicyclist, a 33-year-old woman wearing dark clothing, reportedly crossed the street against when she had a red light, and was hit by an SUV, according to a Vacaville Police Department statement.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say they are not releasing the name of the woman.
Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.
