Bearded Bank Bandit Arrested In Tracy

TRACY (CBS13) – Police say they have arrested the bearded bandit who robbed a credit union back in April.

The original incident happened at the Uncle Credit Union. Police say that back on April 20, someone wearing a disguise walked into the bank, pointed a gun at a teller and demanded money.

However, investigators were eventually able to see through the suspect's beard, hat and glasses disguise. The suspect was identified as 43-year-old Tracy resident Joseph James Boyer and detectives came knocking at his 1300 block of Lankershire Drive home Wednesday.

Boyer has since been booked at San Joaquin County Jail and is facing robbery charges.
