Bay Area Officer Arrested In Roseville, Accused Of Domestic Violence

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – A Bay Area police officer has been arrested on domestic violence charges in Roseville.

Sidney DeJesus, a Fairfield resident and a now former commander with the San Pablo Police Department, was taken into custody on Baseline Road, near Fiddyment Road, around midnight Wednesday.

Investigators say believe he assaulted the victim on Saturday, leaving facial injuries.

DeJesus, 56, was booked at Placer County Jail on $50,000 bail. He has since been released from jail on bond.

The San Pablo Police Department said Wednesday that DeJesus is no longer with the force.
