Batch Of Little Bites Snacks Recalled For Possible Plastic Contamination

NEW YORK (CBS/AP) — Put down the Little Bites. The maker of the snacks is recalling some varieties of its fudge brownies and chocolate chip muffins because they may contain pieces of plastic.

The announcement was made late Wednesday by Bimbo Bakeries, which owns the Entenmann's brand. It said the problem stems from a manufacturing failure at a contract bakery in Illinois.

The affected products were distributed to stores in the last two weeks. One injury was reported.
