Assemblywoman Coming Under Fire For Linking Abortion To Drought

BAKERSFIELD (CBS13) - A state assemblywoman representing Bakersfield is coming under fire after she linked abortion to the drought.

Shannon Grove made the remarks last week to a pro-life group.

According to RH Reality Check, "Grove said Texas had a long drought until Governor Rick Perry signed a fetal pain bill."

Grove claims it rained and "now God has his hold on California."

She is now backpedaling from the comment.
