Arrest Made In Case Of Woman Found Dead In Sacramento Motel Room

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police have arrested a man in the case of a woman found dead at a Best Western motel.

Sacramento police say they were called to the Massie Court hotel on Nov. 25 after a woman was found unresponsive inside a room. Medics soon pronounced the woman dead; she had suffered trauma to her head, officers found.

Detectives have been investigating the case. On Thursday, detectives arrested 35-year-old Mario Michael Mayorga in connection to the woman's death.

Mayorga is facing a charge of homicide. He has been booked at Sacramento County Jail.
