Threat Involving Gun Sparks Lockdown Near Thunder Valley, Suspect Arrested

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) – A threat made Saturday afternoon caused a lockdown in the area around Thunder Valley Casino Resort and resulted in one arrest, the Placer County Sheriff's Office announced.

Deputies said a woman reported to law enforcement that the suspect made threats against her involving a firearm.

The suspect's vehicle was located in the casino parking lot and Roseville police later spotted them in the parking garage heading toward another vehicle during the lockdown. They were identified as Deonna Lenise Holmes, 25.

Holmes faces charges of making criminal threats and being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition.

Authorities said Ace Hardware on Industrial Avenue was locked down as well as the area around the casino.

No further information was released.
