Body Found Along American River Bike Trail, Police Say

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — An investigation is underway after a body was found along the American River Bike Trail on Sunday, the Sacramento Police Department said.

Authorities said the body was located at around 3 p.m. The exact location has not been given.

Police said there are no signs of foul play and coroners are on scene.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
