Amador Schools, High-School Football Game Against Capital Christian Canceled On Friday

AMADOR COUNTY (CBS13) — The Butte Fire has forced the cancellation of school and all after-school activities in one school district.

All schools in the Amador County Unified School District will be closed on Friday due to the smoky conditions from the Butte Fire.

In addition, all after-school activities, including the football game between Amador High and Capital Christian High have been canceled.

The fire has burned more than 4,000 acres and was 20 percent contained on Thursday afternoon.
