8 People Displaced After Fire At South Sacramento House

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A fire at a south Sacramento house has displaced eight people.

The scene is along the 7700 block of 24th Street. Sacramento Fire says crews showed up at the scene around 9:30 p.m. and found heavy black smoke coming from the house.

One person had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, firefighters say.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Red Cross will be helping the people who have been displaced.
