600 Acre Grass Fire 60% Contained In Stanislaus County
8:45 p.m. Update: Cal Fire said the Stuhr Fire, off Interstate 5 and Pete Miller Road is now 60% contained and still 600 acres.

STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) — Firefighters have stopped the forward progress of a 600-acre fire in Stanislaus County.
The fire started around 4 p.m. Friday off Interstate 5 and Pete Miller Road, four miles southwest of Newman.
Cal Fire said around 7 p.m. Friday the fire was 30% contained.
