49ers Trade Sacramento Native To New England
According to CSNBayArea.com, the San Francisco 49ers have traded tight end and Sacramento native Asante Cleveland to the New England Patriots.
Cleveland, who is in his second year, will be traded for offensive lineman Jordan Devey. In 2013, Devey was an undrafted rookie signed by the Baltimore Ravens. Devey then made his way to the Patriots practice squad in September of 2014.
Cleveland caught three passes for 10 yards in the 49ers' first preseason game against the Houston Texans. San Francisco ended up losing to Houston, 23 to 10.
