Police: 4 People Stabbed At Stockton Homeless Shelter

STOCKTON (CBS13) — Police say four people were stabbed after an incident at a homeless shelter in Stockton early Tuesday afternoon.

The scene was at the St. Mary's dining hall along the 500 block of W. Sonora Street.

Stockton police say, four adults,  a 58-year-old man, a 38-year-old man, a 37-year-old man, and a 61-year-old-woman, were stabbed, but it's unclear what led up to the attack. Two victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Police say all four victims had non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers arrested the suspect, 54-year-old Keith Baxter, on assault with a deadly weapon charges.
