4 People, Including Child, Shot In Vallejo; 1 Killed

VALLEJO (CBS) - Four people have been shot, including a 9-year-old child, in Vallejo.

The incident happened just before 4 p.m. in a residential neighborhood in the area of Porter and McLane streets, according to KPIX-TV. One of the people who was taken to the hospital is a child, who had a head wound.

Police tell the station the victims were sitting in a sedan when they were shot by suspects who reportedly drove by in a maroon sedan.

An adult was pronounced dead at the scene. The other people who were shot are expected to survive. One person was shot in the hand.
