3 Men Sought In Shooting Of Pregnant Central California Woman

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (AP) -- Kern County sheriff's officials have named three suspects in a shooting of a man and his pregnant wife that also wounded their baby.

KBAK-TV reported Friday that the three men are wanted on warrants charging them with attempted murder. They are: 22-year-old Anthony Rios, 21-year-old James Rios and 24-year-old Anthony Sanchez.

Adrianna Bravo, who was 8 1/2 months pregnant, gave birth after being shot Tuesday in Bakersfield and was hospitalized in fair condition. She delivered a son, who was listed as critical.

The woman's husband, Mario Bravo, was also shot while shielding his wife. He was in stable condition.

Authorities say the three men confronted the couple in their front yard and one opened fire. The trio then drove away.

There's no word on whether the shooting was gang-related.
